When can you book Christmas delivery slots for Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado and Waitrose?
The SUPERMARKET delivery slots for the Christmas period are expected to be in high demand this year.
Christmas could be months away, but some retailers have already announced when they will make festive food delivery slots available.
Slots usually get busy quickly, so take note of when you can sign up to have it delivered to your favorite supermarket.
Some grocers such as Tesco offer early access to Christmas delivery slots for customers who pay to be members.
Capacity quickly filled up last year as there was an unprecedented increase in demand for online shopping during the pandemic.
Competition for slots could be fierce this year as shoppers look forward to stocking up fearing supermarkets could be hit by shortages.
Some supermarkets have already announced when the slots will be available, but others have yet to confirm.
For those who haven’t revealed their dates yet, we’ve made a prediction based on previous years.
These are the key dates to put in your calendar if you hope to be one of the first to confirm a delivery window for Christmas 2021.
Tesco Delivery Saver customers will be able to book slots from 6 a.m. on November 16.
Tesco’s Delivery Saver service costs £ 7.99 per month and offers buyers free deliveries on orders over £ 40.
Buyers who haven’t signed up for the delivery subscription service will be able to reserve a slot starting November 23, but they should fill up quickly.
Waitrose shoppers are expected to check online towards the end of this month or early October, as Christmas booking dates will be announced.
The supermarket said slots will be available for booking around the same time as last year.
This means Waitrose customers should be able to order a Christmas delivery from early November.
Mark & Spencer
Marks & Spencer’s Food to Order service opens tomorrow, September 28.
The supermarket did not provide more details on how to order, so you should check the M&S website for details in the morning.
Morrisons said he would reveal when Christmas deliveries open for “on time” reservations.
However, based on previous years, we expect Morrisons Delivery Pass customers to have access from early November.
Non-delivery pass customers will have to wait until the end of the month. In 2019, slots only opened on November 27 for deliveries between December 20 and December 24.
The Anytime Pass offers free delivery on Monday-Sunday orders and costs £ 65 per year, £ 40 for six months to £ 8 per month depending on how you pay.
Ocado Smart Pass customers who signed up before September 26 will have early access to Christmas slots.
However, they are booked very quickly, so even Smart Pass members are not guaranteed to get a slot.
This year, members will receive a free delivery slip to use on their festive slot, which will be emailed.
Bookings between 20th and 24th December have a minimum spend of £ 90.
Customers will receive an email or text the day before their Christmas order.
You must remain a member of the smart pass until the arrival of your purchases to benefit from free delivery.
If you terminate your membership before this date, your food order may be canceled.

Asda hasn’t announced when the Christmas delivery slots will be available, but it will likely be in November, based on previous years.
Last year the slots were launched in mid-November and in 2019 they were released on November 19 and 13 for Delivery Pass customers.
Sainsbury’s has yet to confirm when booking slots will go live, but if previous years are any guide, buyers will have to wait a bit longer to receive their orders.
Last year, a December 20 delivery could only be booked from November 29.
