Reading FC fans send key transfer message to midfielder as contract decision looms
Reading FC midfielder Femi Azeez has been urged by fans to sign a new contract with the club.
The 21-year-old is one of five players to be offered new contracts by Royals, with their existing contracts expiring at the end of the month.
Azeez enjoyed a breakthrough year at Berkshire last season, scoring twice in his first three games and although he made 15 first-team appearances, injury limited his time on the pitch.

Andy Yiadom, Andy Rinomhota, Tom Holmes and Josh Laurent are the other senior players to have had the option of extending their stay at Reading, but none have made a decision one way or the other.
Azeez celebrated her birthday on Sunday with a post on her Instagram account that read, “It’s been a tough learning year, but I thank God for letting me see another year.”
In response to the message, a number of Royals supporters all had the same message for Azeez – urging him to ‘sign the thing’ in reference to the offer that is on the table for him.
Here’s what they had to say.
