National Lottery punters urged to check tickets NOW or miss the £1m jackpot in just 48 hours
LOTTERY players are urged to check their tickets NOW after a monstrous £1million jackpot is set to go unclaimed.
The life-changing sum is still up for grabs as a punter has so far failed to collect their money in a September draw – and they have just 48 HOURS left to do so.
The lucky winner has until SUNDAY to come forward and become a millionaire.
The winner took home the UK Millionaire Maker jackpot with the code MWSJ01166.
And the EuroMillions ticket was purchased from Liverpool for the September 7, 2021 draw.
The draw number was 1457.
To check your ticket, the National Lottery advises you either go online to national-lottery.co.uk or download the National Lottery app.
Players can also buy and check their tickets in retail and be scanned on the app to see if they are a winner.
Online players who played through the website or app mean their ticket is verified and will receive an email if they have won.
If a winner does not appear within 180 days of a draw, the money is donated to charitable National Lottery projects across the UK.
For all major prizes, £50,000 and over won in retail, the area in which the tickets in circulation were purchased will be released approximately two weeks after the draw if unclaimed.
For anyone who has questions or thinks they have the winning ticket for one of the National Lottery draws, please call the National Lottery line on 0333 234 5050 or email [email protected] co.uk.
