The weekend of August 5-7, 2022 is the weekend to save on back-to-school items and more.
COLUMBIA, SC — It’s the weekend that many parents of school-aged children look forward to, South Carolina’s Tax-Free Weekend.
This year will take place for 72 hours from August 5th to Sunday August 7th.
The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) reminds shoppers that qualifying items may be purchased online and in-store without paying 6% state sales tax and any applicable local taxes during the weekend. end duty free from South Carolina.
According to the SCDOR website, here are some of the eligible items.
