There are two bottles to choose from, both of which contain the same inclusive fragrance that was “created for everyone”.
This includes the Classic Pride bottle and the Le Male Pride bottle, both of which have their navy blue and white sailor tops reimagined for Pride.
They both fly the colors of the Pride flag alongside the slogan: “Freedom, Equality, Sexuality!”.
The fragrance itself is described as having “heady top notes of blood orange and yuzu”, to create a floral citrus scent enhanced with orange blossom and neroli, and a bouquet of musky blond woods and sensual.
On the occasion of Pride Month and the release of the bottles, Jean Paul Gaultier brought together legendary drag queens.
The stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race including Shea Coulee, Detox, Gott Mik, Gigi Goode, Symone and Aquaria recreated some of Madonna’s most iconic looks at a Pride celebration in New York.
This marked the release of the limited edition bottles and saw flirty icons paying homage to Madonna’s eras including Confessions on a dance floor and the Blonde Ambition Tour.
Jean Paul Gaultier supports the Albert Kennedy Trust in the UK, with all proceeds from the Le Male Pride bottle going to the charity.
Other LGBTQ+ charities around the world that Jean Paul Gaultier is supporting this year include Parada do Orgulho, ACON, The Center, Foundation Le Refuge, Riccardo Simonetti and COGAM Colectivo.
Meanwhile in the UK, The Fragrance Shop is also partnering with AKT, which supports LGBTQ+ people across the UK who are either homeless or living in a hostile environment.
The store donates fivepence from every in-store transaction to the charity, and customers can donate an additional 25p with any Pride collection purchase in-store
