‘Counterfeit perfume’ seized by police in Southampton town center
Bottles of ‘counterfeit perfume‘ were seized by police in Southampton today.
Officers from the Central Neighborhood Police Team were in the city center when they received reports of people selling counterfeit perfumes and products.
Officers seized a number of fake brands, including Dior, Creed and Giorgio Armani.
They also seized boxes of wireless headphones.
Residents were urged to avoid buying the fake items.
On Facebook they said: “Today Southampton Central NPT came out and around the city center we have [taken] note that sellers of counterfeit perfumes are back, and we are taking swift action to seize these items from sellers.
“We advise members of the public to avoid purchasing these items and report it to 101 or online.”
